Versatility of the gold nanoparticle.

Gold is a noble metal, and it is commonly used because of its resistance to oxidation and electrical, magnetic, and physical properties. Forming gold into nanoparticles allows researchers to use gold in areas that are too small for bulk gold to reach and brings with it new capabilities.
